Nathaniel Month 11
April was a very busy month. First, I started swim lessons with daddy. We sing songs, swim with rubber duckies and wear very stylish hats. Then, we flew on a plane all the way to San Francisco. After six hours, I sure was ready to get off that plane, and so were all the people sitting next to us. I love California—did you know that they have fancy hotels where the closets are big enough to fit a crib? I also got to meet some of my mom and dad’s friends; my favorite was Davina’s cat, Potato. I thought she was beautiful although I don’t think she felt the same way about me. Dad and I got to spend quality time exploring the city and destroying the hotel room while mommy went to her conference. After we got home and I finally got adjusted to the time difference, I got a bug in my stomach. For a whole week I was barfing and doing other things too disgusting to mention here. Once mom finally came out of the laundry room, we were able to leave the house again. I got to play with cousin Marcus, go to the zoo with my playgroup and we all went to my friend Jake’s very cool birthday party—he has a goldfish pond in his backyard!
